Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were not ready upon arrival, but they were very clean, spacious, and conveniently located across from the pool and jacuzzi. The service was polite and helpful, with attentive staff always checking on guests. The location was breathtaking with beautiful views, although the dining experience was understaffed and overpriced. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities offered good amenities and the surroundings were peaceful.

The hotel rooms were really nice, spacious, and comfortable, even with all of us. They were spacious and very quiet, a good size, stayed in the Jr suite, very spacious for two people, and close to the main building, surprisingly quiet. The service was really welcoming, very attentive in a new situation of opening up for the first time after the shelter in place in Santa Cruz. The hotel is in a clean location, beautiful view and wooded retreat area with many beautiful hiking trails, on a mountain. The dining was delicious and had something for everyone- the prime rib station and the cheese platter/mezze station were wonderful. The facilities were good, offering housekeeping, valet parking, welcome drink, pet amenities available, happy hour.
